Xroadsmusic.com- web site for Crossroads Music Festivals annual music benefits

The annual "Rock the House"  concerts are the only music events in this area sponsored by not only the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but by the Grammy folks in New York !

The benefit concerts are constantly evolving, and currently consist of live music preceeding a baseball game with the Salem Red Sox. Each year, the mayor of Salem, Virginia, proclaims the day of the game to be "Ronald McDonald House Day".  2007 marked the 10th annual event, with past musicians coming from as far away as Toronto, Canada, New York City, Nashville, and Boston.

Crossroads Music Festivals and Bookbag Santa, Inc. would like to thank our long-time sponsor, Pepsi-Cola Bottling of Roanoke. Without their material support, and donations of advertising, promotional material, and wonderful items for raffle prizes, we would not be able to do the good work necessary in support of Ronald McDonald House and the free school supplies donated through Bookbag Santa, Inc.

Go to www.pepsi.com for games, prizes, product information, and free samples-

Go to Page 3 for more information about the Bookbag Santa project- it's an opportunity for musicians to do a good deed, take a cheap vacation in a beautiful location- and add a "world tour" to your resume' !

In August of 2004, CMF started a series of "House Concerts", every 2 weeks at Roanoke's Ronald McDonald House. These are non-public performances by solo or duo musicians in the living room at the House, held just for the enjoyment of the guests who happen to be staying there on that particular day.

Interested musicians are invited to call Gary Hunt at 540-342-2083, or e-mail
