Xroadsmusic.com- web site for Crossroads Music Festivals annual music benefits

The annual "Rock the House"  concerts are the only music events in this area sponsored by not only the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but by the Grammy folks in New York !

The concerts are benefit events for the Ronald McDonald House in Roanoke, Virginia, and everything is done with volunteers and donations. 100 % of the proceeds goes to the House- not just the profits... the entire proceeds ! 2007 will mark the 10th annual show, with past musicians coming from as far away as Toronto, Canada, New York City, Nashville, and Boston.

In September, Crossroads Music Festivals organizes a motorcycle toy run, the "Run for Ronald" , with all toys, and 100 % of the proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House. The event usually includes a 100+ mile ride, a party at a local dealership, and an evening of music and raffle prizes... and that's just the first day ! Day 2 starts with a Sunday Service by the Christian Motorcycle Association, and a shorter ride, ending with lunch at an interesting Roanoke area location.

Go to Page 3 for more information about the Bookbag Santa project- it's an opportunity for musicians to do a good deed, take a cheap vacation in a beautiful location- and add a "world tour" to your resume' !

In August of 2004, CMF started a series of "House Concerts", every 2 weeks at Roanoke's Ronald McDonald House. These are non-public performances by solo or duo musicians in the living room at the House, held just for the enjoyment of the guests who happen to be staying there on that particular day.

Interested musicians are invited to call Gary Hunt at 540-342-2083, or e-mail
